CryptidFouke and the Boggy Creek Monster
A town in south-western Arkansas where, in 1971, the Ford family said a shaggy creature ten feet tall tried to get into their house at night — one of the brothers was taken to hospital in shock. The tracks found by Boggy Creek had three toes, matching no known animal. A year later the pseudo-documentary The Legend of Boggy Creek was shot here with locals playing themselves; it made many times its budget and put the creature in front of the whole country.
